Our friend and client, Chris Linder,
purchased
"Alpaca" a couple years ago. Alpaca is a beautiful, highly trained
six-year-old palomino mare and was show
competitively in 2008 at PHBA shows, earning 12
points and was awarded a PHBA
certificate as third in the nation in
Reining.
For the past few years, Alpaca has given lessons to more
accomplished riders interested in gaining advanced
skills in the "Art and Style" of Reining, as well
as teaching beginning riders new skills negotiating
obstacles outdoors on trail. Highly
intelligent, quick minded, kind
and loving, this finely bred mare
is currently
training with his new owner, Chris, for a cross-country trail ride in 2012.
Throughout 2011, Chris and Alpaca will be showing at the
New York State Reined Cow Horse Association (NYRCHA) show
circuit. Alpaca has honed her terrific reining cow
horse, and she and Chris will also begin showing at the AU
Cattle Sorting, which started in March 2011. Watch for
updates on this duo's upcoming show results and for news on
the cross-country ride they have planned.

purchased
“Di”
(Magics
Princess Di),
a beautiful 10 year old chestnut mare (4/24/99) that was
not started under saddle until age 6, but is now a nice
riding mare, in the arena or outdoors on trail. She
was used as a broodmare by her previous owners. She is
broodmare sound and sells with a free breeding to
Ima Winning Hustler,
our new young palomino stallion
sired by the
AQHA/PHBA
champion sire
Winning Colors and out of our
champion Halter and Pleasure mare,
Magics Coosa Nicki.
“Di” has a quiet disposition
and likes people. She is easy to handle, quiet under
saddle, and gets along well with both people, and all the
horses in the pasture. Her pedigree as double lines to
the World Champion sire,
Zip To Impress,
for Halter perfect looks, while
also carrying bloodlines of the World Champion sire,
Bull Parker,
for performance and athletic
ability. Di has also been out to work cattle twice and even worked cattle with our
young grandson.
It's a girl!
Di gave birth to a
gorgeous palomino filly in April 2010 who was the FIRST FABULOUS FOAL sired by
Ima Winning Hustler. Di's foal was
born with a blaze and two white hind
stockings. This gorgeous, elegant, intelligent and sweet
little lady with "presence" like her daddy is
another special "winning" AQH "princess"!! Check her
