"Magic" is a 1983 liver chestnut
broodmare who was retired in 2006 from the breeding herd and
is now living out her days at AQH. Magic was born, raised
and trained in Texas, earning an AQHA ROM in Halter
& Arena Performance. She is the foundation
broodmare for the
AQH breeding program, and the
dam of 13 foals. She is well known for her
progeny excellence, and is the dam of the following horses
in residence at
AQH:

Estrellita
De Magica,
Color Me
Magical.
She is also the dam of
Color Me Miss Magic,(now
in residence with new owners in Newfield, NY), and granddam

is also the dam and
granddam of many, many other fine horses living elsewhere
with their owners. Not only has
“Magic”

and now gives an occasional lesson to beginning young
equestrians.

Doc Bar Maid
is a 1983 AQHA palomino who was
retired in 2008 from the breeding herd and is now living out
her days at AQH. "Blondie" was born into the world of cattle
on an Oklahoma ranch where she became a champion
at cutting cattle. Moving to the East with a
versatile in the disciplines of barrel racing
and pole bending with lifetime
earnings of over $10,000 prior to
entering the broodmare herd. She is also the dam of 13

pleasure, performance, and reining horses for the farm.

Magics Coosa Nicki,
1996 supreme AQHA chestnut mare
sired by
One Tuff Act,
is a daughter of our foundation
broodmare,
Bull N Magic.
This fabulous mare has stolen our hearts, and the hearts of the
veterinarians and staff at Cornell University Veterinary
Hospital. Suffering a tragic illness that left her totally
blind, “Nicki”
has become the
replacement for her mama in the herd at
AQH,
and functions normally as the top
broodmare. She has raised five foals, losing one,
Ima Winning Playboy,
to a terrible injury as a yearling. The following are on
the
AQH show string, and remain in
residence here:
Color Me Coosanita
and
Ima Winning Hustler.
Now in residence with their new
owners are her two daughters,
Magical Winning Jane and
Winnie Ther Pooh,
both young mares making waves and
winning championships for their youthful owners in 4-H and Open
competitions.

Bull N Magic,
she is also known as
“Princess.”
A terrific show mare in her own
right with a PHBA ROM in Halter and Performance in Western and
English events, she now is making her debut in Reining, but will
soon retire from the show ring and enter the
AQH broodmare herd at in either
2009 or 2010.

Winning Colors x Bull N Magic
Born: 2002

Color Me Magical,
2002 beautiful AQHA and
PHBA palomino mare sired by
Winning Colors, is also a daughter
of our foundation broodmare,
Bull N Magic,
affectionately known as
“Wende.”
This fabulous show mare is a “legend in her own time,” teaching
and bringing back young riders who have been frightened by other
horses and who are too scared to ride anymore.
“Wende”
definitely has “magical” powers, and has successfully
rehabilitated many fearful youngsters. After being touched
by this special mare and feeling her kindness, they come under
her “spell,” and eventually graduate from her “safety zone,”
and move on to other horses….Wende”
is also a champion show horse,
winning multiple high point titles in Western and English
Pleasure, but her specialty remains Trail, both in and out of
the show ring. We hope she will debut in the
AQH broodmare herd
by 2010.

Color Me Coosanita,
2003 elegant AQHA and PHBA palomino
mare sired by
Winning Colors, is a granddaughter
of our foundation broodmare,
Bull N Magic.
Known as
“Atonte”
this beautiful lady
effortlessly glides over the ground whether she’s being ridden
English or Western. She is also a fancy pleasure driving
horse, and is fantastic pulling a carriage. She is the
daughter of our blind broodmare,
Magics Coosa Nicki,
and represents the best of her
sire,
Winning Colors,
and her mama,
“Nicki.”
As a show horse, “Atonte”
has collected her line
up of ribbons and trophies, and we hope to have her debut into
the
AQH broodmare herd in 2012.
